Blue Bay Research Inc.
Measure Ankle Stability with the
	Ankle Arthrometer

The Ankle Arthrometer is clamped to the foot and
	 a reference pad is strapped to the shin.
2.	The ankles are loaded with 125 N (28 LB) of Anterior and Posterior force. Displacement is recorded along with the load. Total AP displacement is measured as AP laxity.
 3. For I–E rotation, the ankles is loaded at 4 N-m (35 in-LB) Inversion and Eversion torque while foot Rotation (degrees) is recorded along with the torque. Total I–E rotation at 4.0 N-mm is measured as I–E laxity.
Result = Ankle Laxity
